Each one of our lovely rooms is licensed to hold non-religious ceremonies, giving you the flexibility to choose the perfect space that suits your vision. We are a fully licensed wedding venue and infact you can hold your ceremony anywhere in the Hall – even in the Foyer or the gardens.
We are also have a licensed bar and can cater for all your needs, from a glass of fizz to a wedding banquet.

What is the maximum number of guests?
We can set up in a variety of ways with a maximum capacity of 100 in our beautiful Councl Chambers

What kinds of ceremonies do you allow?
We are an approved and licensed venue for all non religious ceremonies, civil marriages, civil partnerships and vow renewals.
Our license covers the venue only so you will also need to contact the registry office to book your registrar team for your day.
Can we decorate the spaces?
You can make the space your own, we ask only that you work within our T&C’s.
Making sure that you have booked time to set up and to clear will also be necessary.

Do you have a bar?
Please note that as the licensed venue, OYEZ Arts is the only entity permitted to sell alcohol on the premises.
Our simple wedding packages allow enough time for you and your guests to share a celebratory glass of fizz immediately post ceremony.
We have all options available from 60-90 minute drinks reception to an open bar or table service.
Our team is ready to help ensure your celebration is exactly how you envision it!
Corkage can be prior arranged and agreed.
Do you have catering?
At OYEZ, we cater for drinks receptions and canapés in-house, ensuring a seamless celebration.
For wedding breakfasts, we collaborate with outside caterers who provide a range of menus tailored to your specific needs.
We take pride in supporting Altrincham’s local businesses, and we’re fortunate to be surrounded by an array of amazing local artisan suppliers.

Is there a sound system?
We have a bluetooth speaker system whcih is free to use.
Recommended tracks should cover:
- guest arrivals
- aisle music
- signing the register
- celebratory close
- background for photos/drinks etc
We advise that your nominated muso arrives 15 minutes early to connect. Our team will be on-hand to help.
Is there parking?
Within your booking we will reserve 2 car spaces, it’s essential to pre-book.
There are plenty of car parks within a five-minute walk and the stamford quarter car park is perhaps the most convenient for your guests. You’ll also find metered road parking directly in front of the building on Market Street if available.
If you have any questions about parking options, feel free to reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist!
Can we unload deliveries?
It is possible to unload and access using the rear entrance. There is a ramp from the car park and a lift in the lobby to help with heavier items.
It’s best to tell us in advance so we can be sure we are ready for you. Storage is limited so we’d usually prefer to have any deliveries on the day and items to be cleared.
If you are looking for a venue for your special event, Oyez Arts can accommodate up to 100 people for weddings, parties and celebrations.
