A SENSE OF PLACE

Our new exhibition ‘A Sense of Place’ is an exploration of the things that shape, and place us in our world.
Meaning something a little different to each of us, a sense of place is a reflection of community, location, landscape and personal experience. Exploring what surrounds us, what it means to each of us and how it defines us.
Our sense of place changes as we age, as we grow and develop strong identities and passions. Place is often felt deeply by local people and visitors alike.
The exhibition will be launched in October with a special preview evening on the 25th to marks our official OYEZ opening. It will be an integral part of our ‘Open House’ Weekend as OYEZ celebrates our own sense of place in Altrincham’s community as a new space for arts and culture.
