OYEZ Arts, Altrincham Town Hall

We are excited to launch CRAFTED 2025, a brand-new creative makers event taking place in the heart of Altrincham this November. We’re inviting talented designer-makers to showcase their original, handcrafted work in ceramics, textiles, woodwork, jewellery, glass, leather, mixed media etc.

If you specialise in your craft and are passionate about sharing your work with new audiences, we’d love to hear from you.

 

Why Exhibit at CRAFTED 2025?

Hosted by OYEZ Arts, Altrincham’s new cultural hub and events space, located in the beautiful old Town Hall, this event offers a unique opportunity to exhibit in a high-footfall, historic venue right in the heart of the buzzing Market Quarter.

Our mission is to enrich local arts and culture while preserving this important community heritage building. As a Community Benefit Society, OYEZ is fully committed to supporting creativity and offering a platform for talented makers to connect with the wider community across Trafford, South Manchester and Cheshire.

Applications

Applications are now open
Deadline for submission: 14 June 2025.

We’re looking for high-quality artists and makers working in ceramics, textiles, jewellery, wood, glass, print, and other craft disciplines. 

We’re excited to feature 32 exceptional exhibitors, each showcased in a designated space with event literature, digital brochures and venue maps.

All display areas are positioned along a clear, circular route to ensure equal footfall and visibility for all.

Exhibition Days

  • Saturday 15 November | Open to public: 10:00–17:00
  • Sunday 16 November | Open to public: 10:00–16:00

Set-Up

  • Friday 14 November | 14:00–18:00

Makers Networking Event

  • Friday 14 November | 18:00–19:00

De-Rig

  • Sunday 16 November | From 16:00

 

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from makers of all backgrounds, professional levels, and geographic locations—especially those from under-represented or marginalised communities. This includes (but is not limited to) Black, Asian and ethnic minority groups, LGBTQ+ makers, neurodivergent artists, disabled??/ deaf creatives, and those from working-class backgrounds.

Our focus is on supporting local talent across the Northwest, but we welcome submissions from anyone willing to travel to Altrincham.

Marketing & Promotion

We’re investing in wide-ranging promotion across Manchester and the Northwest:

  • Social media campaigns via Instagram & Facebook
  • Video content, behind-the-scenes footage and artist spotlights
  • Printed leaflets distributed across South Manchester
  • Press coverage in Altrincham Today, Creative Tourist and local publications
  • Regional influencer partnerships
  • Community outreach to artist groups, creative hubs and networks

We’ll also provide promotional materials to all exhibitors, and we kindly ask that you share these with your own networks to help spread the word.

Selection Process

All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of arts professionals based on:

  • Craftsmanship & originality
  • Quality of images supplied (up to 6 recommended)
  • How well your work aligns with our vision: to present a diverse, high-quality and engaging selection of handmade work

Successful applicants will be notified after the application deadline 30th June 2025

Access & Setup

  • Temporary on-site parking available for unloading
  • Nearby public parking available throughout the weekend
  • Ramped access at both front and rear entrances
  • Hand-cranked lifts available for moving equipment

Key Notes

  • No commission taken on sales
  • Public liability insurance required
  • Friday setup is mandatory
  • Full weekend bookings required
  • Please note your images will be used for marketing and publicity purposes

Fees & What’s Included

  • Submission Fee: Free
  • Exhibition Fee: £50 per day (total £100 for 2 days) Introductory Fee.
  • Set-Up & Networking Event: £20  

Total Cost to Exhibit: £120

Each exhibitor will receive:

  • A 1.5m x 0.75m table with a branded CRAFTED cloth 
  • A display space sized 2m x 1.5m
  • Entry in event digital brochures and marketing
  • 200 Printed flyers to promote your presence at the show 

Optional extras:

  • Power supply: £10 (must be pre-booked)
  • Backwall panels: Available on request at an additional charge
